Blois Cathedral

With the creation of the diocese of Blois in 1697 and the coronation of Monseigneur David Nicolas Berthier as the first bishop of Blois, the parish church of Saint Solenne was chosen as the cathedral after the Benedictines of Saint Laumer refused to abandon their buildings for a diocese.

Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Trinité

Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Trinité is a Catholic basilica located in Blois. Classified in 1996 as a historical monument, it also holds the “Heritage of the 20th century” label.

Sainte-Marie-Madeleine Church

On June 2, 1474, John VIII, Count of Vendôme, founded the church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine with the support of its inhabitants, and in particular, winemaker guilds.

Place Jeanne-d'Arc

The church has a circular choir surrounded by an ambulatory that opens upon four radiant chapels. There are two smaller chapels, one on each side with their polygonal wall. To the side aisle, another two chapels. The choir is visibly unaligned to the south.
